There is growing evidence indicating that Autism and how its symptoms manifest, is different in both boys and girls. Much of the literature up until now has focussed on Autism as it presents in boys - however there is a growing body of work exploring how Autism manifests in girls.
The focus of this online seminar is to equip the paediatric health worker with the knowledge to identify and understand autism as it presents in girls. There will also be discussion and presentation of activities for working with girls on the spectrum.
Your Presenter: Emma Spencer, Clinical Psychologist
