Are you a mental health worker who provides services to children, adolescents and families?
Are you currently offering Telehealth services in response to the COVID-19 outbreak?
Would you like to feel more confident in delivering services in a supportive, creative and therapeutic way?
This online workshop focusses on developing skills and confidence in providing mental health assessment and therapy services, using a Telehealth platform.
During the current health epidemic facing us globally, many therapists are moving their services online - however as this is a reaction to the current global pandemic, very few are feeling confident in their delivery of these services.
The training will focus on:• Service delivery nuts and bolts (ie infrastructure, procedures and policies required);
• Getting the client comfortable and what to focus on during the initial online session;
• Creating a therapeutic environment and "holding space" over the internet;
• Factors to consider in conducting a thorough mental health assessment online;
• Working with specific populations - young children, primary kids, adolescents and families;
• Creative activities that translate through the screen;
• Tools of the trade - resources and more...
